Fairways and Roughs

Milorganite. For Better Results. Naturally.

Quick Tips

  • Apply Milorganite to weak spots.
  • Non-burning, even in the hottest conditions.
  • Incorporate Milorganite into your divot mix.

Fairways are usually the most picturesque part of the golf course.  All golfers instantly note the level of care and maintenance they receive.  Including Milorganite in your fertility program for fairways helps to insure that your fairways are a highlight of your course.  Remember when roughs were a place that golfers never wanted to go?  Today, they are expected to be playable. This means that to some degree, today's superintendents are mowing and maintaining roughs on a regular basis.  Milorganite's slow release formula provides 8-10 weeks of feeding without excessive top growth.

In regions where killing frosts can be expected, avoid nitrogen applications to warm-season grasses in the fall less than one month prior to the average date of the first killing frost. For best results, fertilize when over-seeding with cool-season grasses.

All rates are monthly except dormant which is annual.
